Christmas Gift Ideas!

I thought I'd share some fun gift ideas under $20 with you guys! It is the most wonderful time of the year, but I know how hard it can be to find the perfect gift, especially under a budget. I personally love putting a few things together in a cute arrangement! Some of these ideas can be used as stocking stuffers as well! Most of the presents are perfect Christmas presents for girls! Let me know if you would like to see a post on Christmas gift ideas for boys as well!

One of my personal favorites are these adorable festive socks! Bath and Body works always has the most comfortable and softest socks around this time of year! They are the first thing I look for on Black Friday! :) Living in a dorm room it can get cold, so these socks work really well. If you know a college student, these are great gifts for them or for anyone else! They are $8.50 and can be the perfect stocking stuffer or I personally add them to a gift, for example with some of the other items listed below.
Another great item to add to your gift is a Christmas coffee mug! I picked this one up from Target and am in love with it! It adds the cutest touch to a present! You could also put hot chocolate ingredients inside and give it as a present that way! Sometimes I like to put mini candles or socks or other small presents inside so they find all their other presents inside the mug! All the Christmas mugs at Target range from $2-$4.
Bath and Body Work's hand sanitizers are something you can add to your present as well! I bought a few to add to each of my friends' gifts. If you are looking for one final thing to add to the present, these work great! They can also be adorable stocking stuffers! Each hand sanitizer costs about $1.95.
Some other items I have been adding to my friends' presents this year are car scents! If you know a new driver a cute idea might be a portable car winter scent! Also, because dorms do not allow candles I bought holiday room sprays. If you are buying a present for a college student, this is a great option!
Room spray- $5
Portable Car Scent-$3.50
Gift bag- $3
(Bath and Body Works)
If you are buying candles for anyone, you could also add a festive box of matches to go with it! It helps add an extra something to your present if you feel like you want to add more.
Matches - $3
Gift bag- $2
(Bath and Body Works)

Holiday scented body lotions or hand creams are great gifts or stocking stuffers for girls as well! I've been adding them to presents a lot this year! For example, you could give someone Christmas socks, with hand lotion, a holiday spray, and hand sanitizer and arrange it in a cute Christmas bag! It will seem like you got a lot, without spending too much! Or you could pick one or two of those items and arrange them together!
Hand Cream - $5
(Bath and Body Works)
A really fun/dorky gift idea is these glasses from Target! Or, if you are hosting a Christmas party with your friends, you could get them each one for the party!
Glasses- $1
(Target)

Let me know if you guys try out any of these gift ideas!

Toast Bakery Cafe!

After moving to LA a couple months ago, I've had the chance to search for and try out a few really amazing lunch spots! Recently, I had the best time at Toast Bakery Cafe! The cafe is on West 3rd street and is the cutest lunch spot! They serve breakfast/lunch with some pastries inside as well! I was also really impressed with the service! Also, if you are looking for a place to run into celebrities while in LA, this, along with other food spots on the street are the places! It's also right next to Beverly Center and close to the Grove which is a bonus :)

I ordered Tony's Salad and it was incredible! The salad has chicken, strawberries, pecans, blue cheese, cherry tomatoes and avocado in it. I never thought I would like the combination of strawberries and avocado but it was delicious and definitely worth a try if you are ever there!

If you are looking for a breakfast option, one of my friends ordered the Eggs Benedict with potatoes and really enjoyed it! Another great breakfast plate I've ordered, is an Omelette called The Third Street which has spinach, swiss and feta cheese, with mushrooms, and onions.

When you go inside the cafe there's the cutest display of candy and other sweet treats! (P.s. anyone else love the festive pumpkins) :)

Let me know if any of you guys check it out! :)

San Francisco Weekend Trip!

I recently took a trip up to Berkeley for a few days to stay with one of my friends and had the best time exploring San Francisco! When I got there, we decided to make a list of the places we wanted to see besides the typical tourist spots! Making a list really helped us actually go to a lot of the places! I thought I'd share with you guys some my favorite spots. If any of you guys are making a trip out there, try and check them out!

One of the coolest places we saw was Yerba Buena Gardens,  which you can see in the picture above. With live music and the most incredible view, it was the best place to take a moment and sit down. I definitely recommend putting it on your list of places to see! I personally love tall building scenery and city views, so it was perfect.

Even though it was super windy, Fisherman's Wharf was also really cool! It had a great view and reminded me of Brighton Pier, which I've always wanted to see! Also, if you're there check out the crepe store!

Mission Dolores Park is definitely a must see! It's a huge park with the most incredible view of all of San Francisco! It's also perfect for taking pictures! :)

Next we went to Haight-Ashbury which had really cool, interesting shops and I finally got to see the typical different-colored house streets.

While we were there we had the best lunch at a place called 1428 Haight! If you guys are ever in the area I definitely recommend checking it out! I ordered the Pesto chicken sandwich and it was amazing!

One of my other favorite spots (not gonna lie because of the shopping) was Union Square :) If you guys are ever looking for a good non-fancy dinner spot that isn't too expensive, check out Super Duper Burger! It was a really cute, super modern looking restaurant with the best burgers!

FALLing over Pumpkins !

It's official. I think I'm obsessed with pumpkins! Recently I had the chance to go to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood. I'd been searching for a good pumpkin patch to go to for a while and stumbled upon this one. It's the cutest, tiniest place! There's just rows of pumpkins and other activities like a petting zoo and pumpkin decorating and gift shops! The actual pumpkins themselves were pretty expensive, depending on the size you bought, but it was still a fun day plan! It was really nice actually getting into the fall spirit!

One of my favorite things about fall is all the decorations, from pumpkins to leaves, candles, etc. This year I've been really into decorating with pumpkins! They look so adorable as desk decorations or even on a dining table and I've been using them to make my dorm room more festive!

Even though it was 80 degrees, it started to finally feel like fall! If you guys end up going, let me know what you think!
